After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, Kate completed a Master of Science in Education from Missouri State University. Since that time, Kate has worked in various roles in residential education and community engagement within Student Affairs. Most recently, Kate served as the Appalachian & the Community Together (ACT) Associate Director for Community Partnerships at Appalachian State University. Kate joins the Key Center with almost twenty years experience in higher education and over ten years of professional experience in community engagement work. Kate is currently working on her doctorate in Educational Leadership at Appalachian State University.
